We as TERSANE II not only have the goal to advance our scientific understanding of ancient extinctions, but to intensify collaboration among scientists in the field of palaeobiology and increase awareness for climate change in the general public. As improvements for the work with fossil data we developed computational tools which are available on the platform evolv-ed. As for the public work, CCAT was founded to inform the population about climate change and the measures everyone can take to reduce their carbon emissions. Events such as the “Klimatag im Schloss” are aiming at raising awarness and informing society about climate change issues. Unfortunately the event had to be postponed due to COVID-19.
