At this years General Assembly of the European Geosciences Union, Dr. Kenneth De Baets et. al presented their findings regarding “The impact of the Pliensbachian-Toarcian crisis on belemnite diversity and size distribution”. The abstract and presentation can be viewed here. 

February 12th – 13th, 2020, Berlin (Germany) – TERSANE II – Workshop. Our inaugural meeting of TERSANE 2 was a full success. 

February 4th, 2020 – TERSANE II Student, Gregor Mathes, wins best presentation award at the Paleobiology Symposium in Bolognia. 

Established in 2016, TERSANE is a collaborative, DFG-funded Research Unit exploring the impacts of climate change on multiple spatial and temporal scales.
